- Course Management System is intended for use as a secure communication and web-publishing tool
for faculty and students. Terms of its use fall within the general policies
for information technology within the University (see http://www.it.northwestern.edu/policies/).
- Only
faculty members or their support staff (including teaching assistants)
may request course sites for University-offered courses. Students
who may want course sites for their courses should consult their
instructors.
- Documents in a course site are for the
use of students only in that course. Sharing of such materials outside
the class membership may constitute copyright infringement.

Email functions within a course site are to be used only
for course-related communication.
